Kuvarbai Nu Mameru Yojana 2024-25: There are many welfare schemes running for the welfare of children of poor families in the state of Gujarat. This includes the Kunvarbai Nu Mameru Yojana. The aim of this marriage assistance scheme is to provide direct financial assistance to poor families. Assistance is paid directly to married daughters through DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer) in their bank accounts. Kunvarbai’s Mameru Yojana benefits SC category girls, OBC category daughters and daughters from economically weaker families after marriage. In this scheme, Rs. 12000/- is deposited per beneficiary daughter.
In Gujarat, the E Samaj Kalyan Portal [esamajkalyan.gujarat.gov.in] provides a scheme for women. Kuvarbai Mameru Yojana provides a benefit of Rs 12,000 on the marriage of daughters from socially and economically weaker families. To avail the benefit of Kuwarbai’s Mameru scheme, one has to register on the e Samaj Kalyan portal. The bride is given assistance of Rs. 10000 directly in her bank account.

Kuvarbai Nu Mameru Yojana Income Limit
The Department of Social Justice and Empowerment has increased the annual income limit in the Kuvarbai Yojana. Now the income limit has been fixed at 6,00,000- (six lakhs)
Eligibility for Kuvarbai Nu Mameru Yojana
- The eligibility for the Kuvarbai’s Mameru Scheme form has been determined by the social justice and empowerment

- The beneficiary must be a native of the state of Gujarat.
- The applicant must be from an economically weak family.
- The benefit of Kunvarbai’s Mameru Scheme will be available for the marriage of two adult daughters in a family.
- This scheme will be available in the pocket of the beneficiary’s remarriage. In the case of widow Poonam marriage, the benefit
- of this scheme will also be available.
- The Kunvarbai’s Mameru form will have to be applied online within a time limit of two years after the marriage of the bride.
- The daughters participating in the Saath Phera group marriage program are eligible to get assistance from the Kuvarbai’s Mameru Scheme.
- The beneficiary bride participating in the community and other group marriages will be eligible to get benefits under both
- these schemes if she fulfills all the conditions of the Sat Phera group marriage scheme and the Kunvarbai’s Mameru Scheme.
Benefits of Kuvarbai Nu Mameru Yojana
In the state of Gujarat, if a daughter of an economically weak family gets married, she is given the benefit of this scheme.
Under this scheme, 10,000 assistance was paid directly to the bank account of the girl through direct benefit transfer, which has been revised in the amount of assistance.
If the girls got married after 1/4/2021, then such a couple will get 12 thousand rupees under the Kunvarbai Mameru Scheme.
Objective of Kuvarbai Nu Mameru Yojana
This scheme has been started to provide financial assistance to the poor class of girls belonging to the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes after their marriage. Under the Kunwarbai Mamerani Yojana, on the occasion of the marriage of two adult daughters of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, assistance of ₹12,000 will be paid as per the revised rate to the bride who gets married after 1-4-2021, while assistance of ₹10,000 will be paid as per the old rate to the bride who gets married before this date.
