Eligibility – Navodaya Vidyalaya Admission 2023-24Â
To be eligible for admission to a Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya in 2024, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Be a bonafide resident of the district where the JNV is located
- Have studied in class 5 in a government or government-recognized school in the same district during the 2022-2023 academic year
- Be between the ages of 10 and 12 on May 1, 2024 (both dates inclusive)
The selection test for admission to a JNV in 2024 will be a two-hour exam held from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm. The exam will consist of objective-type questions in three sections and will be worth a total of 100 marks. There will be a total of 80 questions.

Exam Pattern – Navodaya Vidyalaya Admission 2024Â
JNVST Class 6 exam pattern will give insight into the number of questions asked in each topic, marks awarded and the duration of the Navodaya 6th class admission test.
- NVS Class 6 admission 2023 will be conducted for a duration of 2 hours from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm. Additional 40 minutes will be given to ‘“Divyang students or differently-abled students’.
- There is no negative marking.
- There will be 03 sections in the question paper containing 80 questions for 100 marks in total.
- Extra 40 minutes will be given to differently-abled students.
